Limpid Lim"pid (l[i^]m"p[i^]d), a. [L. limpidus; akin to Gr. la`mpein to shine: cf. F. limpide. Cf. {Lamp}.] 1. Characterized by clearness or transparency; clear; as, a limpid stream. [1913 Webster]
