Melezitose Me*lez"i*tose`, n. [F. m['e]l[`e]ze the larch + melitose.] (Chem.) A variety of sugar, isomeric with sucrose, extracted from the manna of the larch ({Larix}). [Written also {melicitose}.] [1913 Webster]
