Paddlefish \Pad"dle*fish`\, n. (Zo["o]l) A large ganoid fish ({Polyodon spathula}) found in the rivers of the Mississippi Valley. It has a long spatula-shaped snout. Called also {duck-billed cat}, and {spoonbill sturgeon}. [1913 Webster]
