Pardon Par"don, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Pardoned} (p[aum]r"d'nd); p. pr. & vb. n. {Pardoning}.] [Either fr. pardon, n., or from F. pardonner, LL. perdonare; L. per through, thoroughly, perfectly + donare to give, to present.
