Surbed Sur*bed", v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Surbedded}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Surbedding}.] [Pref. sur- + bed.] To set edgewise, as a stone; that is, to set it in a position different from that which it had in the quarry. [1913 Webster]
