Trinket Trin"ket, n. [F. trinquet foremast, also, a certain sail, trinquette a triangular sail, or Sp. trinquete triangular.] (Naut.) A three-cornered sail formerly carried on a ship's foremast, probably on a lateen yard. [1913 Webster]
