Chlora perfoliata
Yellowwort Yel"low*wort`, n. (Bot.) A European yellow-flowered, gentianaceous ({Chlora perfoliata}). The whole plant is intensely bitter, and is sometimes used as a tonic, and also in dyeing yellow. [1913 Webster]
