Crown Crown (kroun), v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Crowned} (kround); p. pr. & vb. n. {Crowning}.] [OE. coronen, corunen, crunien, crounien, OF. coroner, F. couronner, fr. L. coronare, fr. corona a crown.
