Dispirit Dis*pir"it, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Dispirited}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Dispiriting}.] [Pref. dis- + spirit.] 1. To deprive of cheerful spirits; to depress the spirits of; to dishearten; to discourage. [1913 Webster]
