Amphigory Am"phi*go*ry, n. [F. amphigouri, of uncertain derivation; perh. fr. Gr. ? + ? a circle.] A nonsense verse; a rigmarole, with apparent meaning, which on further attention proves to be meaningless. [Written also {amphigouri}.] [1913 Webster]
