ink-jet printer ink"-jet` printer, n. (Computers) A type of printer used as a peripheral device for computers, in which the color is applied to the paper by spraying liquid ink onto paper through tiny orifices in a moving print head, to construct the desired pattern on the paper by placing one dot or several dots at a time on the paper.
