Burmans
Burman Bur"man, n.; pl. {Burmans}. [``The softened modern M'yan-ma, M'yan-ma [native name] is the source of the European corruption Burma.'' --Balfour.], (Ethnol.) A member of the Burman family, one of the four great families Burma; also, sometimes, any inhabitant of Burma; a Burmese. -- a. Of or pertaining to the Burmans or to Burmah.

Note: Burma is now (1998) named Myanmar. [1913 Webster]
