Irresolute Ir*res"o*lute, a. [Pref. ir- not + resolute: cf. F. irr['e]solu, L. irresolutus not loosened.] Not resolute; not decided or determined; wavering; given to doubt or irresolution. [1913 Webster]

Weak and irresolute is man. --Cowper.
